Count your banknotes with ease. Simply follow the instructions below to learn more about different counting modes, what they do, and how you can use them.
Mix Counting Mode
If you want to value count unsorted Euro or British Pound banknotes, all you have to do is select the mix counting mode. Please note that the Safescan 2265 is automatically set for counting unsorted Euro banknotes.
1. If your device is not automatically set to the mix counting mode, you can easily navigate to it by pressing the MODE button until the MIX icon becomes visible on the screen.
2. You can now change the currency by pressing the DETECT button. Please note that the mix counting mode is only available for Euro and British Pound banknotes.
3. Lastly, insert your banknotes and start the counting process. The device will now show you the total number and value of all counted banknotes.
Sort Counting Mode
If you want to value count one banknote denomination at a time, you can activate the sort counting mode.
1. Press the MODE button until the SORT icon becomes visible on the screen.
2. You can now change the currency by pressing the DETECT button. Please note that the device can only calculate the value for Euro and British Pound banknotes.
3. Keep pressing the DETECT button if you want to turn off the ultraviolet or magnetic detection features. You might need to press it a few times.
4. Then just insert your banknotes and start the counting process. The device will now show you the total number and value of all counted banknotes.
Please note that the Safescan 2265 will display an error if one of the banknotes has a different height than the banknote that was counted first.
(Free) Count Mode
If you only want to count the number of banknotes or individual sheets (such as vouchers or coupons), all you have to do is activate the count mode.
1. Press the MODE button until the COUNT icon becomes visible on the screen.
2. Press the DETECT button if you want to turn off the ultraviolet or magnetic detection features. You might need to press it a few times.
3. Lastly, insert your banknotes and start the counting process. The device will now show you the total number or counted banknotes or sheets.
Please note that the device can only process banknotes and sheets that fit within the size range mentioned below.
Minimum dimensions: 5 x 11 cm.
Maximum dimensions: 9 x 18 cm.
